NCAAF Rankings - Final

NCAA Football Top 25 Rankings
Updated: Final, 10 JAN 2017

Some of these rankings my surprise you, but keep in mind that there is no bias towards any team or preconceived notions, and the only thing considered is what each team has accomplished so far.

Notes:
  • The 2016 National Champion according to the Ooten Ratings: Clemson Tigers
  • Alabama was so good throughout the season, that they finish a very slim margin behind Clemson, the team that just defeated them.
  • The Buckeyes finish at #3 after losing to Clemson, followed by #4 Washington (lost to Alabama) and #5 Florida St. (defeated Michigan)
  • #9 Oklahoma climbs into the Top 10 after beating #21 Auburn
  • #6 USC moves up two spots, passing the team they defeated (Penn St).
  • The Big Ten has the most teams in the Top 10 (4), however, the ACC has 8 teams in the Top 25 (nearly 33%)
  • Top 10 // Top 25  Teams for each conferences:
    • ACC: 2 // 8 
    • Big Ten: 4 // 4
    • Big 12: 1 // 2
    • Pac 12: 2 // 4
    • SEC: 1 // 5
